12 Tribes of Israel Today: Who Are They?

God made many promises to Abraham and his descendants, but many of his descendants disappeared from history. Where are the 12 tribes of Israel today?

Many have wondered where some of the peoples who came from Abraham went. Who are the 12 tribes of Israel today? Although the Bible does not specifically name the modern nations representing all of these people, there is biblical, historical and archaeological evidence that make it possible for us to positively identify the United States, Britain and many of the nations of Western Europe as the nations where descendants of the 12 tribes of Israel largely reside today.

Economic “Contagion”—and Bible Prophecy...

How does this play in with Bible prophecy? The Scriptures are plain when they state that the return of Jesus Christ will be preceded by a religious-political-economic-military system composed of 10 nations (or groups of nations) based in Europe and inspired by the ancient Roman system (Revelation 12:3; 13:1; 17:3, 7, 12). This will be the last human empire before the establishment of the Kingdom of God.
Is it possible this current economic crisis in Europe will become so critical that it will serve as the stimulus for the formation of this end-time European power? It would appear to emerge not democratically, but out of severe crisis, as an emergency measure.
Notice: “These [the 10 horns or 10 leaders] are united in yielding their power and authority to the beast; they will make war on the Lamb [Jesus Christ], and the Lamb will conquer them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings” (Revelation 17:13-14, New Revised Standard Version, emphasis added).
Will the 10 yield their political power to the beast as a result of a crisis? That would seem very likely.
Whatever the case, current developments in Europe are significant in the inexorable march of Bible prophecy. Let’s watch the effects of “contagion” and keep our eyes on Europe!

HealthCare Madness..

Marcie Edmonds was tearing open a box of air-conditioner filters in her garage last June when she felt a sharp sting in her abdomen.
The 52-year-old Ahwatukee Foothills woman had never felt a scorpion sting before that day. She had no intention of seeking medical help, but within an hour of the sting, Edmonds' mild tingling sensation worsened with throat tightness, blurry vision, darting eyes and tense muscles. She could not walk and had trouble breathing.
With the help of a friend, she called Poison Control and was advised to go to the nearest hospital that had scorpion antivenom, Chandler Regional Medical Center. At the hospital, an emergency room doctor told her about the antivenom, called Anascorp, that could quickly relieve her symptoms. Edmonds said the physician never talked with her about the cost of the drug or treatment alternatives.
Her symptoms subsided after she received two doses of the drug Anascorp through an IV, and she was discharged from the hospital in about three hours. Weeks later, she received a bill for $83,046 from Chandler Regional Medical Center. The hospital, owned by Dignity Health, charged her $39,652 per dose of Anascorp. The Arizona Republic reported last year about the pricey markup Arizona hospitals were charging for the antivenom made in Mexico. Pharmacies in Mexico charge about $100 per dose....

Barack Obama’s War On America’s Fresh Water Supply

Barack Obama is keeping his promise to lower the sea levels, and he’s starting with the drought- plagued Midwest where Lake Michigan water is being shipped by the boatloads over to China! By using a little-known loophole in the 2006 Great Lakes Compact, Obama minions are allowing Nestle Company to export precious fresh water out of Lake Michigan to the tune of an estimated $500,000 to $1.8 million per day profit. By draining the precious jewel of the Great Lakes in the middle of America, our federal water managers are allowing the export of our water out of our country across thousands of miles of oceans into the Asian basin plagued by huge population centers that are suffering from their constant lack of fresh water. How’s that for cutting America down to size?
The water is being sold at a “240 times markup”; that is, well over 240 times its production costs. In 2006, then-President George W. Bush signed into law a set of agreements aimed at safeguarding and maintaining the Great Lakes, which hold 20% of the world’s fresh water. But clever bureaucrats and corporate profiteers discovered they could use a loophole to bottle and sell Lake Michigan water, water intended for use by its surrounding states and their watershed. By saying “this loophole allows for Great Lakes water to be labeled a COMMODITY”, our public water officials are allowing the huge supply to be tapped and sold off to companies like Nestle at a very low price. This water can then be flipped for huge profits! Surrounding wildlife and water critters depending on fresh Lake Michigan water now are feeling the shortage, and our much-needed relief from the horrible Midwest drought of 2012 must compete with foreign countries for water that belongs to America!

Middle-Class America at Risk

“The American middle class is in trouble. Incomes are stagnant or falling, while the costs of life’s necessities continue to rise, and the risks of falling behind grow. … A strong middle class is essential for a vibrant democracy and a healthy economy—and for our conception of what America is all about,” suggests an August report on the Center for American Progress website.

The United States Treasury reports that the total public outstanding debt is: $16,015,769,788,215.80. This is the first time in American history debt has eclipsed the $16 trillion mark.
The debt has increased approximately $5.4 trillion since President Obama took office on January 20, 2009.
Here's a chart, from the Republican side of the Senate Budget Committee detailing the increase in national debt over the last dozen years:

A trial that has become a symbol, in Wisconsin and across the U.S., of government criminalization of farmers for providing food directly to consumers has been rescheduled for January.
But the delay from the previously scheduled September court date is expected to focus even more attention on the dispute that has dragged Wisconsin dairy farmer Vernon Hershberger to the court’s defendant’s table in the Sauk County Circuit Court, presided over by Judge Guy Reynolds.

Summertime Blues - The slowdown is spreading around the world

The disappointing rich-world recovery following the financial crisis has shown that central banks cannot by themselves reboot debt-burdened economies. The endless euro saga has demonstrated that a lasting solution to debt crises requires bold political action. Financial markets forgot those lessons over the summer; they may soon have to relearn them.
